SGN-RCE collects, concentrates, and pre-processes data from industrial measuring instruments, sensors, and probes. SGN-RCE is designed as a compact network element that can be used in various application schemes at substations, distribution stations, telecommunication hubs, etc. The modular design is based on a motherboard containing central circuits, basic user interfaces, and line interfaces. Specific customer requirements are addressed by the product's modularity, where, in addition to the basic port equipment, other functional units and interfaces are handled by replaceable sub-modules.
The device features transmission interfaces ranging from GSM/LTE to 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet. Replaceable sub-modules enable communication via wired interfaces (serial – RS232, RS482 or switching contacts, Ethernet) and wireless interfaces (LoRa, NB LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee).
